INSTALLATIONS
Naval Base Guam (NBG) is a consolidated Navy installation with several components across the island.
Naval Base Guam is home of Commander Submarine Squadron FIFTEEN, Coast Guard Sector Guam, and supports more than 30 tenant commands. It is the home base of five LOS ANGELES class submarines and to dozens of units operating in support of US Pacific Command, US Pacific Fleet, SEVENTH Fleet and FIFTH Fleet.
barrigada
The Naval Base Guam Barrigada site is located south of Route 16 near the village of Barrigada. NCTS transmission antennas are located at the site.
north finegayan
Naval Base Guam North Finegayan Telecommunications Site is located on the northwest side of the island. It is the home of Naval Telecommunications Station Guam.
ordnance annex
The Naval Base Guam Ordnance Annex is located approximately 1 mile southeast of the main base. It encompasses nearly 18,000 acres and is also the site of a reservoir built by Navy Seabees.
orote point
The main base at Naval Base Guam, also referred to as “Big Navy,” lies on the west side of the island, about mid-way between the northern and southern ends, and at the southern end of Marine Corps Drive. It lies south of “Outer” Apra Harbor and surrounds “Inner” Apra Harbor.
polaris point
Polaris Point lies on the eastern side of Apra Harbor and is accessible from Marine Corps Drive, approximately two miles north of the Main Base front Gate.
tenjo valley & sasa valley
Defense Fuel Support Point Guam, under U.S. Naval Base Guam, operates a storage, transfer, and pumping capacity for a variety of marine and aviation fuels.
